A concrete instrument at the service of the Church, for the cultural growing of young students: this is the Civitas Lateranensis Foundation’s purpose, established on the 19th April 1996, by John Paul II.
The Foundation is a non-profit organization, with public juridical personality following the canon low and supported by a Governing Body of five members.
Its funds increase through contributions, grants, inheritances, and various presentations from both privates and legal entities.
The Foundation’s objective is the promotion and the support of the Pontifical Lateran University and of all the related institutions.
So, it supports the University’s activities and initiatives and, through economic supports and scholarships, it guarantees several opportunities for study and research.
